Hey, I’m Alisha. A wife, mom, fitness/nutrition/lifestyle coach. I dieted for over a decade, losing and regaining the same weight over and over. I was not only chasing a number on the scale, but I was also trying to be everything to everyone, which only left me feeling more exhausted and worse about myself.
I finally realized that if I was going to show up as the wife and mom I wanted and find freedom in my health I needed to work on my relationship to food, exercise, my body, and myself. I learned about the power of changing our brain (aka our thinking) - and our behavior- through habits that supported the healthy lifestyle that I craved. And now I’m ready to share everything I’ve learned with you!
If you are ready to finally find a simple nutrition and fitness plan that is built for busy moms...
Feel better in your clothes and about what you see in the mirror...

How diet culture has created an unhealthy addiction to exercise
Hey loves, this week I have a special treat for you. We talk a lot about intuitive eating and the non diet approach to nutrition on here and how you can really make nutrition so much simpler for yourself if you drop the diet mentality when it comes to eating...but today, we are taking the non-diet approach to exercise as well.
In today's episode my special guest and I talk about diet culture's unhealthy messages when it comes to exercise, and how you can recover from or prevent an unhealthy relationship with exercise all by changing the way you think about it.
I am joined by special guest Nyla Wiebe. Nyla is a Certified Health and Life Coach trained in habit and mindset change, also holding a Food and Nutrition Diploma and a host of fitness instructor certifications.
She coaches her clients through an Intuitive Eating, Christian and Enneagram perspective. She works virtually 1:1 with women worldwide, helping them heal their relationship with food, fitness and body image, without dieting, obsession or restrictions, but instead teaching them to tune into their God given body cues and wonderfully unique personality.
We get into her backstory with exercise, and how a healthy habit turned into an unhealthy obsession and how she learned how to listen to her body's needs when it came to exercise.
