Hey, I’m Alisha. A wife, mom, fitness/nutrition/lifestyle coach. I dieted for over a decade, losing and regaining the same weight over and over. I was not only chasing a number on the scale, but I was also trying to be everything to everyone, which only left me feeling more exhausted and worse about myself.

The truth about why meal plans and workout programs fail us
Ok, here's the deal, traditional use of meal plans and workout programs have been failing us. Not the other way around.
And, if we go even another layer deeper, it's the whole thinking around meal plans and exercise that is actually failing us. We are one of a kind. Unique and beautiful creatures.
From our dreams and goals and desires to the way our body uses food and responds to exercise.
There is no one-size-fits all when it comes to your health and wellbeing. Rather, there are different methods you can try until you find the combo that works for your life and is helping you reach your personal goals.
The problem I see so often in the fitness industry is that we try to use one meal plan template for everyone. Or one macro calculation for all clients. This doesn't work long-term. And it doesn't address the most important aspect, which is your brain and your thinking.
Your thoughts are behind every decision you make. Most of them you don't even notice because they are subconscious. If you want to make real, lasting change in any area of your life, you must address your thoughts and you have to start tailoring your food and your exercise regime to you, not the other way around.
