Hey, I’m Alisha. A wife, mom, fitness/nutrition/lifestyle coach. I dieted for over a decade, losing and regaining the same weight over and over. I was not only chasing a number on the scale, but I was also trying to be everything to everyone, which only left me feeling more exhausted and worse about myself.

Just say no to the hustle
If you've been around here for a bit, then you already know I tend to be ambitious, driven, and find no trouble at all grinding it out day in and day out. In fact, that is how I worked in my business for years. I bought the lie that in order to be successful, I had to hustle.
I had to work all hours of the day and had to be glued to my cell phone. Taking a day off or even sleeping in felt like I was being lazy and I was seriously so freaked out that I would NOT reach my goals if I didn't hit it with this level of crazy all the time.
Thankfully, we are seeing a shift of energy and perspective here. Turns out we were not made to hustle 24/7. Instead, we were created from a place of rest. And created for rest. In fact, it is literally what we do every night when we go to sleep. Recharge the batteries so we can get up and do it all over again.
The problem is, we have been conditioned to think we have to 'earn' rest.
And sadly, this is the same mentality I see not only in entrepreneurship, but in the health and fitness industry too.
What if you said to heck with the hustle, and embraced rest instead?
